Little Donkey.

We recently took a two day trip to the York castle museum for an advertisment project and it was suprisingly good! I'd been there alot as a child but I didn't remember it being anything like it is now. There was a big section for old fashioned toys and I rather fell for a wooden puppet of a donkey.

I'm currently trying to make a little book of toys and objects and this lovely little donkey will be my centre page. It's a really simple monoprint but it fits in well.

Kath Luck

Today would have been the 48th birthday of the most amazing woman I've ever met. Kath Luck passed away on the 9th of April 2008 but not without leaving a lasting impression on everyone she came across. I don't have a single bad memory about this woman. She was layed back, funny, kind and had time for everyone. No problem was ever too big to her to solve and it was physically impossible to feel alone with her in your life.

You taught me alot Kath But today I shall honour you in the best way I know how; by cooking cakes with melted aero bars instead of icing....though they're not looking quite as good as when you made them....

R.I.P Kath. Thanks for looking after me all those years x

Err....yeah I drew my friend skilton a while ago in my continuous line phase. He's never seen this so I feel a bit creepy. I like brown paper alot but so does everyone, right?

Just can't get enough!

Addiction

I've been playing round with images of my very old, very deceased, family and pictures of myself as a creepy child. I'm too addicted to photocopiers. If I ever win the lottery, I will buy myself a colour photocopier.

Making a start!

I don't know how to start this so I'm posting a load of old work from last year! :

The drawing on this is pretty appalling but it was fun to do. I discovered my un-dyeing love for photocopiers this day.

Trying to drop a hint to a friend coming to view my final show. I can happily say it worked.

I love the Dexter novels by Jeff Lindsay and the T.V. show is pretty amazing too. So yeah, continuous line Dexter
